Eduard Doujak

Graduate Engineer and Doctor of Technical Sciences, Eduard Doujak is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Energy Technology and Thermodynamics of the Technische Universität Wien (TU Wien), where he is a member of the Research Area for Fluid Machinery.

His research focuses on the development of pumped storage power plants in the range of 0.5 MW to 15 MW, which serve as short-term energy storage and can contribute to grid stabilisation, and on the lifetime prediction of hydraulic turbines due to harsh operation.

In addition to his university activities, Dr Doujak is involved in European research, participating in and coordinating projects and networks such as the EERA Joint Programme Hydropower, ETIP HYDROPOWER, H-HOPE, PEN@Hydropower, and Store2Hydro.
